‘The Dark Knight Rises’ brings Nolan’s trilogy to an epic ending — movie review

Christopher Nolan certainly had his work cut out for him following the unbelievable box office and critical success of “The Dark Knight” in 2008. He is also working with the pressure that three-quels– especially in the super hero genre– hardly ever work. Incredibly with “The Dark Knight Rises”, he is able to deliver a fitting, even if bloated, final act to his “Dark Knight trilogy” that is sure to set one hell of a bar for the remainder of the DC Comics family to try and live up to. ‘Safety Not Guaranteed’ (2012) movie review

What would you do if you could go back in time and change one thing about your life? Would you go back far enough to change an entire timeline and cause a dramatic shakeup in your fate or would you go back and tweak one little thing that may nor may not cause any dramatic changes in your life or the lives around you? In “Safety Not Guaranteed”, the question of whether or not we control our fate and how much we dwell in the past is the driving question of the movie.

‘Ted’ (2012) movie review

What you think of “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane could greatly affect how you feel about his live action debut. Either way, “Ted”, starring Marky Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis is a hilarious movie that goes about as far as you can go when one of your main characters is pot smoking, foul-mouthed teddy bear.
