Musicals can definitely be a mixed bag. I grew up watching musicals with my mom and my sister. I can say for the most part most of them are the same, there are some that really hit home with me. “Moulin Rouge” and “O’ Brother Where Art Thou?” are a couple of my recent favorites because they both feature fantastic music but also great acting and stories that draw an audience in. ‘I, Robot’ (2004) movie review

Will Smith has earned a reputation for being the king of summer movies. Starting with “Bad Boys” and continuing with the likes of “Independence Day” and “Men in Black”, Smith’s career took off fast. Soon enough, he was trying to add some intelligence to his blockbusters. Hence, “I, Robot”. In the year 2035, we will live in a world where artificially intelligent robots are as common as a household pet. In this world, they will protect us. They will serve us. ‘Charade’ (1963) review; 100 Movies in 90 Days part II

How do you know when someone is lying to you? That is one of the driving questions behind “Charade”, the 1963 film starring Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn. The film is one of those great romantic comedy thrillers that many of today’s movies only wish they could be. In fact one movie, a remake, “The Truth About Charlie” tried and failed to be this movie.
